DuoGate at Cosmobeauté Malaysia 2026
DuoGate is at Cosmobeauté Malaysia & beautyexpo 2026, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 29 September to 1 October 2026.
Now in its latest edition, Cosmobeauté Malaysia is the country's largest and longest-running beauty trade show, bringing together around 400 exhibitors and an expected 15,000 visitors, with international pavilions from Korea, Taiwan and Indonesia among others.
For foreign cosmetic brands, it is one of the few occasions in the year when the Malaysian market is genuinely in one room. It is also where a particular question comes up repeatedly: what does it actually take to get a product on shelf here?
Why we are there
Cosmetics in Malaysia are not registered but notified to the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) through the Quest 3+ system. The notification must be held by a Cosmetic Notification Holder — a Malaysian entity. A foreign brand owner cannot hold it directly.
That single requirement shapes a great deal of what follows. The notification holder's name appears on your label. The notification holder carries the duty to act when the ASEAN Cosmetic Directive annexes are updated. The notification holder controls your access to the market.
Where that holder is also your distributor, you have handed a commercial partner a say in your future distribution strategy. We act as an independent notification holder, with no distribution interest in your product, so that appointing or changing distributors does not disturb your regulatory position.
